Hi. I'm Vlad.

I am a technical lead and senior-level software engineer with over 20 years of experience in application design, development, deploying and testing using a whole bunch of modern (and not very modern) technologies, such as Java, C++, Go, PostgreSQL, YDB, Terraform, K8S and Linux. I have always been driven by a passion to create innovative, optimized, scalable and reliable solutions. I am an avid open source proponent and contributor who loves robust and clean code and design. On a more personal note, I used to live in Irkutsk, Russia, a small beautiful city overlooking Lake Baikal, but some day I moved to Moscow and then to Belgrade, Serbia. I have quite a number of hobbies and interests which include running, solving math problems, genealogy, playing the piano and learning languages. I am also a bit of a bookworm and enjoy a good read.
